Only items priced by a lot of markets at once, ranked by the biggest gap between the cheapest and 2nd-cheapest price. A wide gap on an item only 1-2 sites even list is as likely to be a mispriced or stale listing as a real deal - requiring several markets to agree on the price first is what makes the gap a trustworthy signal.
Demo: four steps per row - 1) buy an item cheaply on any market, 2) sell (trade in) that item to cs.trade for credit, 3) buy a pricier item from cs.trade with that credit (they keep roughly a 5% cut, cheaper than cashing out via balance), 4) instant-sell that pricier item elsewhere. Step 1's item is limited to whatever cs.trade is currently accepting as a trade-in - a different, much smaller list than what they currently have in stock to sell you. This is an estimate, not a live simulation of cs.trade's actual trade options - it still assumes any single item can be traded directly for any other single item within budget, and the 5% figure is what's been observed on the site rather than independently verified. Markets hidden elsewhere (e.g. Best Deals' Markets panel) are excluded here on both the buy and sell side too.
